Online Photography Competition from 16th to 25th November 2021

The NSS Unit of GDC Eidgah, organized an Online photography competition on the Theme “Autumn Fall” under the Banner “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”, for BG 1st and 3rd Sem students. The date of Submission of Photographs was set between 16 th Nov to 25th Nov, 2021. It was a creative event blended with the holistic approach, in which the participants got an opportunity to inculcate the virtue of selfless care towards Nature by capturing the “Autumn Fall”. The budding photographers got the congenial atmosphere to exhibit their skills in the form of photographs captured and submitting the same. The students were briefed with the Modalities of the Competition keeping into consideration the Covid 19 Pandemic SOP’s, in an online mode. The very purpose of photography competition was to identify the best photographer so as to provide them an opportunity to participate in future inter college and State level events. 14 students of BG 1st sem and 05 students of BG 3rd Sem participated in this competition. The pictures submitted were judged by Dr. Shah Faisal (HoD Urdu), Dr. Javid Ahmad ( HoD EVS) and Dr. Bilal (HoD English) faculty members of the College. Among the 19 contestants, Mr. umar (BG 1st Sem) bagged first prize. Second prize was shared by Mr. Umer Ayoub (BG 3rd Sem) and Miss Rafakat Nazir (BG 1st Sem) and Miss Neha (BG 3rd Sem) and Mohammad Rayees shared the third prize. Dr. Nusrat Shafi (NSS PO) was the faculty coordinator and Dr. Jabeena Khazir (Convener Disciplinary Committee) was the Co-Coordinator for the competition.
